A personal journey with well being after a major crash

Blog_main_16

At Result CIC, we often talk about the importance of a positive mindset in our workshops and coaching sessions highlighting its importance in developing resilience during tough times. The focus is on having a growth mindset. This allows:

  • mistakes to become learning experiences
  • recognition of the achievement of personal goals after hard work
  • being kinder to ourselves.

Being kind to yourself often sounds easier than it is. Admitting to any stress in the workplace can be seen as a weakness. Stress which is not dealt with can often lead to health complications which can be highly debilitating. Over the past 2 years I have spoken at two ‘Well Being seminars’ at the Chancery Bar Association aimed at lawyers with ever increasing work levels. This was followed by an article written specifically for them and published on their website which describes my own experience. Read it here.
