Confidently different

In 2013 Result CIC worked with the Manchester City Partnership on a new programme of coaching and workshops for leaders of different disabled-led charities. The basis of our concept was that bringing people together from different organisations would offer participants a rich source of ideas and networks. The programme was a real success and we have wanted for some time to run something similar.

Here is what one participant wrote in their feedback:

‘I am so pleased that I came on this course. It really made me think and the new connections I made are going to be so valuable. The coaching sessions were fantastic. One concept from the coaching session has revolutionized my life.’

We are therefore delighted, with the support of Purple Space – the UK’s biggest disabled networking hub - to be offering a one-day workshop plus one coaching session for professionals with disabilities or long-term health conditions. This will take place in central Manchester on Weds 22 November 2017.

We expect to bring together people from a variety of backgrounds and organisations to share experiences and benefit from working together.

The workshop day will consist of 4 modules:
- Your identity in a changing environment
- Vulnerability as a strength
- Effective communication
- Your aspirations

Included in the price is a one-hour coaching session which can be flexibly organized by phone or Skype instant messaging. This will allow you to use the ideas from the workshop to shape your personal goals and map out a strategy for achieving them.

It is often beneficial to have further coaching sessions with gaps so let you work on your goals. So we will be offering specially discounted extra 3 sessions for anyone who wishes to take this opportunity.

If this workshop and coaching session sounds right for you or a colleague, get in touch here.
