Office of Disability Issues selects Result CIC to support ex Remploy employees

Blog_main_26

Result CIC has secured a contract with the ODI (Office of Disability Issues) to provide coaching support for ex-employees of the Remploy factory in Oldham following its closure.

Each person will be invited to attend a number of training days and will have a number of 1-1 coaching sessions to boost their self-confidence, develop their personal plans and, generally, to prepare themselves for work outside of Remploy.

These sessions will be supplemented with group workshops which will bring ex colleagues together. The workshops will allow them to discuss newly discovered insights and practice skills to further embed positive personal changes.

One ex-employee who is already receiving this support said: 'Coaching is the only type of support I have received which has helped me to make progress. It has been important for me.'
