Working with Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit

GMIAU_web

Following a successful application for funds from Awards for All, part of the Big Lottery, we are pleased that we have been able to start our new partnership with GMIAU. The purpose of the programme is to provide training workshops and 1-1 coaching for 10 recent immigrants to help with further integration into this country. Furthermore there is a similar structure for working with 10 GMIAU Volunteers to help with the realistaion of their aspirations and further personal development.

The first introductory half day workshop was held today. It was a privilege hearing about their experiences and we look forward to working with the group.
