Andy Hilton is the inspiration behind Result CIC. Having worked with people living with disability or long-term illness for many years as Result Coaching, Andy and Hormoz founded the CIC (community interest company) in 2012. He has been instrumental in developing the company into the thriving social enterprise it currently is.
In 2017 Andy stepped down as an Executive Director. He took the role of Director Emeritus of Result CIC and remains committed to and actively involved in delivery work.
Andy comments:
I help clients to examine, accept and adapt themselves so that they can make the most of their opportunities to build the balanced, contented life that they want.
I offer 1-1 coaching and training for individuals and organisations, and have a particular passion for supporting people living with a disability or long-term health condition to help them fully integrate into the workplace and life in general.
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching from The Coaching Academy, which is accredited by the Open College Network. I am also a qualified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programing) Practitioner. I trained at the NLP Centre of Excellence, which is an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) approved training centre.
I am an active member of the Cumbria Coaching Network; a group of individuals with a professional or personal interest in coaching who live in or around Cumbria. Since 2005 I have been a trustee of, including 8 years as Chair of, the National Long-Term Survivors Group, a national charity supporting people living with HIV.
Coaching style
My desire is to work with each client in the way that works best for them. I call on a wide range of coaching tools and techniques, but also on my life experiences to support the client in the direction that they want to go.
With some clients coaching on a practical level is required, that is; deciding on practical things that they can do to change their situation. With others, a deeper level is required to examine where limiting beliefs and personal barriers are coming from. Within the first couple of sessions together, we will identify the right approach for your situation.
