I do coaching, mentoring, training, and social impact work with Result. I have provided disability awareness training for organisations, contributed leadership and confidence training as part of a bigger program, and helped Result CIC measure social impact.
I am an accredited ICF coach with a passion for supporting individuals with disability, neurodivergence, and chronic health conditions. As someone who is profoundly deaf, I have lived experience of disability, and I also have experience supporting others with neurodivergence and chronic conditions.
I have a 1st class honours degree in psychology, an MSc in applied positive psychology, and a PhD in behaviour change, health inequalities and health communication. Over the past 15 years, I have worked in the third sector as a director, where I have honed my leadership and management skills.
As a coach, I use my diverse experience and expertise to empower individuals and teams to achieve their goals. With a strong focus on positive psychology and effective communication, I can help clients overcome obstacles, develop new skills, and achieve lasting success.
What makes me confidently different is my passion for challenging myself, and my commitment to growth, and learning.
I love setting myself challenges so that I can stretch myself and grow. I’m currently learning to kayak on Scottish lochs, but past challenges have included setting up a roller derby team when I couldn't even skate, teaching myself to powerlift so I could enter a competition, and learning to bake bread so I could start a small bakery.
I'm also a proud mum to four amazing kids, and love walks in nature with my husband and dog (especially if it includes a coffee stop!), reading, and crocheting.
