Development Training and Coaching for Disabled People

'This has been one of the most exemplary programmes I have been on.'

What is involved in our coaching and training programmes for disabled people?

We offer flexible options working face to face (when permitted) or online including:

  • group workshops
  • individual coaching (which can boost the impact of the group work)
  • small-group coaching
  • action learning sessions (ALS) to intensively focus on one topic or question
  • any combination of these elements to meet your requirements

We can work with groups of disabled people, managers or colleagues of disabled people or a combination of these.

What are the benefits?

Though there is no ‘typical’ content, our programmes will often help to boost skills in the following areas:

  • self-confidence and self-belief
  • identity as a disabled person
  • personal styles and adapting to others
  • personal strengths (including those developed as a disabled individual)
  • assertive communication and getting our messages across
  • asking for help
  • making best use of our contacts

What experience do we have?

Result CIC has been running programmes for and with disabled people since 2012 including:

  • Achieving your Potential – 6-month workshop and coaching programme for disabled staff at the University of Manchester run for 5 years.
  • From Transformation to Strengths – a development programme with coaching for Disabled staff at Liverpool John Moores University.
  • DELTA (Disability Empowers Leadership and Talent) for the Civil Service – a personal development programme for disabled staff on the Future Leaders Scheme (FLS) – since 2019.
