This year, Saif Ali, Result Director and former refugee, became a British citizen.
In his 2017 TEDx talk 'From Seeking Asylum to Seeking Purpose', Saif shares his lived experience of 18 years seeking asylum, reflecting on how displacement has shaped essential parts of his identity. He explores his journey of learning to accept and honour the aspects of his identity born out of challenge - without becoming defined by them - while also connecting with the wholeness that exists beyond those parts, without bypassing their significance.
