If truth be told...

There's an awful lot of doom and gloom in the world. You only have to turn the news on to know that it's one disaster after another...

But perhaps the news isn't as bad as we have been led to believe by a media who thrive on the negative and unusual.

The late, great Hans Rosling, Sweden's renowned physician, academic, statistician, and public speaker, gave a wonderfully witty TED talk in 2014 in which facts and statistics present a very different story about the world, and our view of it, than the media would have us believe.

Watch the talk here, presented by Hans and his son Ola. It could change your perception of the world and how we get our information about it.

Did you beat the chimps?

So, what's this got to do with us?

Well, much of the work that Result CIC does, and much of what coaching is about, supports the idea that positive thinking can and does affect change for the better. Whether you're an individual or organisation, the way you see the world around you can have a profound impact on your levels of positivity and happiness.

So much of what is said in this talk resonates with us at Result CIC. We hope it does with you too.
