Our coaching work with Instigate Arts has come to an end. Now, come and see the art.

As we reported in June, Result has been working in partnership with Instigate Arts on a project supported by Salford City Council as part of their Salford 100 celebrations.

Now it's time to see the outcome. Trails, Pales and Centenary Tales launches in August, and you're invited to join us at the launch event.

The city of Salford is 100 years old this year and there's a programme of events happening throughout 2026.

Combining themes of heritage and untold stories, five artists from Instigate Arts immersed themselves in five Salford pubs, speaking to locals and documenting folklore, rumours, and memories. Out of this, they’ve created five original bespoke artworks – film, sound, animation, story, paint, all giving voice to a previously unknown archive, a people’s story.

Result's contribution to this project was in providing development coaching to the five artists, all of whom have lived experience of being excluded. This approach was key to the project achieving its funding, and now it's time to enjoy the finished pieces of work in situ at the five venues on the trail.

And you're invited to the launch on Saturday 15 August from 1pm to 5:30pm, starting at Worsley Old Hall and including a tour of all five venues and artworld. Meet the artists and hear the stories that have been shared. For full details, vist the INstigate Arts website here.
